Galaxie Gathering Number 18 was held on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at 9:30 am as part of the Ford & Mercury Restorer's Club of America "Dearborn 2008" Car Show at the Wayne County Fairgrounds, 10871 Quirk Road, Belleville, Michigan, 48111. This was a new show for our club, and our first of two July events. The Dearborn 2008 car show was a great time, and the 600-vendor swap meet, food, bathrooms, etc. were very handy. The car show was free, with each show car occupant paying $5 admission at the gate. Here's the map:
The morning started out overcast, and it even rained briefly at the beginning of the show. We had a total of 10 members, 5 spouses and 1 parent attend the show with 11 cars:
