Galaxie Gathering Number 21 was held at the 34th Annual Shelby American Automobile Club Motor City Region Show & Go on Sunday, May 31, 2009.  The event was held in the parking lot east of the Ford Motor Company World Headquarters at Michigan Avenue and the Southfield Freeway in Dearborn.  Car show registration ran from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, and the show lasted until 5 pm.  The SAAC-MCR parked all of the Motor City Galaxie Club members together.

The weather was superb for the show:  sunny and warm!  The first Galaxie Gathering of 2009 was a great success, thanks to the 17 club members and 7 spouses who attended the show with 18 Galaxies, 1 Mercury, 1 Meteor and 4 other Fords:
