Galaxie Gathering Number 27 was held on Saturday, July 10, 2010 from 10 am until 2 pm at the 1st Annual Brighton AutoFest at Brighton Ford. This was our first of three July events! There were door prizes, food, games, music, a 50/50 raffle, etc. After a bit of organizing, we had our own designated parking area reserved just for our Galaxies.
The weather was spectacular, with a temperature of 85 °F, humidity around 35%, and brilliant sunshine! A fantastic day for a car show. Thank you to the 15 members and 8 spouses who attended with 16 Galaxies and 1 other Ford:

As a tribute to the Motor City Galaxie Club and our cars, Brighton Ford awarded Best In Show, 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up trophies to three of our Galaxies. Unfortunately, the Best In Show trophy was awarded to the only Galaxie at the show not owned by a member of the Motor City Galaxie Club! This won't happen next year! Congratulations to the 3 club members who won awards for their cars:
