Galaxie Gathering Number 35 will be held as part of the Ford PDC (Product Development Center) Employee Truck & Car Show on Friday, July 15, 2011.  The show will take place at the Ford Product Development Center at 21175 Oakwood Boulevard, Dearborn, Michigan, 48124-4079 (turn southwest on Village Road from Oakwood Boulevard).  This will be our second of five July events!  Cars can arrive between 7:30 am and 9:30 am.  There will be a designated parking area for the Motor City Galaxie Club members to park together.

This will be a very special show because they are planning to have 2 unique exhibits.  In addition to the successful tractor exhibit, the highlight of this year's show is the Family of Fine Cars display, featuring one each of 15 brands available at Ford- and Lincoln-Mercury- franchised dealers in the US and Canada over the years.  These include, Ford Car, Ford Truck, Fordson, Ford Tractor, Mercury Car, Merkur, Edsel, Lincoln, Continental, Shelby, and DeTomaso in the US, and Meteor, Monarch, Mercury Truck, and Frontenac in Canada.

Almost 400 collector vehicles are expected at this year's Ford PDC Employee Truck & Car Show.  This is our first year being invited to participate in this show, so please join us!

IMPORTANT NOTE #1:  When you arrive at the show, please identify yourself as being a "MEMBER OF THE MOTOR CITY GALAXIE CLUB".  This will ensure that you are parked with the other club members in attendance.

IMPORTANT NOTE #2:  If the weather on Friday, July 15^th is questionable and you're wondering whether the event will still be held or not, please check the homepage of the Motor City Galaxie Club website, www.motorcitygalaxieclub.com, for an “Event Rescheduled” notice, or call Adrian Clements at 908-723-6767.  The rain date for this event is Friday, July 22^nd.
