Meetings

Our next club meeting is scheduled for 6:30 pm on Tuesday, September 7th at National Coney Island in Royal Oak. We hope to see you there!

We meet the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm (most people arrive around 6:30 pm to eat and talk with other club members before the discussion of club business officially begins at 7:30 pm).

In an effort to make the club meetings accessible to more club members in the greater Detroit area, we implemented a meeting location change effective May 2008, with an "east side" meeting location.

On odd months (March, May, July, September and November) we will meet on the east side at National Coney Island, 1812 North Main Street, Royal Oak, Michigan, 48073-4102 (phone 248-398-6111), and on even months (February, April, June, August and October) we will meet on the west side at G Subu's Leather Bottle, 20300 Farmington Road, Livonia, Michigan, 48152-1416 (phone 248-474-2420).

National Coney Island has a large meeting room that holds 70 people. The parking lot is large enough to safely park our cars. National Coney Island is located on the northeast corner of North Main Street and East 12 Mile Road in Royal Oak. Here's a map:

G Subu's Leather Bottle has a large, quiet meeting room with a wall of panoramic windows that overlook the north side of the parking lot where we can see our Galaxies while we meet.
