1970 XL SportsRoof - SOLD!!! VIN 0G60Y256710, BODY 63C, COL M, TRIM 6D, AXLE 2, TRNS U, DSO 63, Date 07/70 The 1970 Ford XL SportsRoof was sold out of the Hudspeth Motors, Inc., Harrison, Arkansas on 08/05/1970 as documented in the Marti Auto Works Deluxe Report that I have for the car. The '70 XL has been through a major restoration over the years. Everything has been replaced new at one time or another. At present, it has a brand new Ford Motorsport 466 cu. in. big block crate motor with about 3,500 miles on it. The automatic transmission was rebuilt in 2009. The interior has been also totally reupholstered with the same pattern that was used in 1970, and a new headliner was also installed. The front suspension has been rebuilt right down to the bare frame. The rear coil springs have also been replaced, along with the rear suspension bushings. The car has been taken down to bare metal and repainted in Wimbledon White with several coats of clearcoat. The '70 XL has 1970 Torino Magnum 500 wheels on it with BF Goodrich tires in great shape, which really make it stand out.
